Microsoft has offered some reasons why the Windows team decided to break from 20 years of Internet Explorer development and make an all new browser rendering engine, called Edge, for Windows 10. The engine will be used in the all new browser, code name “Project Spartan“.

Everyone knows that Windows Central loves to stream games via Twitch, and you probably even know that we give out prizes during a lot of our streams. Although app and OS updates are great, what is even better is when companies post the entire changelog of what exactly is new. Luckily for us, AT&T agrees with this idea.

Earlier today, AT&T released the Lumia Denim software update for their Lumia 1520 and now the company has posted a very detailed listing of what has changed.

Most of the features in the update are already known, but things like the 578MB file size or Femtocell closed subscriber group (CSG) access being enabled are certainly unique.

Motorola has updated its camera app with a fresh new icon that matches the Material Design of the rest of the app introduced in a previous update. New icons are pretty neat, but there’s also some substance in this update in the form of various bugfixes. If you want the new-look icon, head to the Play Store on your Motorola device and snag the update.

Much like Rogers, the initial push of BlackBerry OS 10.3.1 on TELUS was limited to the BlackBerry Z10, Q10 and Q5, leaving BlackBerry Z30 owners waiting a bit longer. Now though, the update has started rolling out and Z30 owners have the OS update available to them according to several folks in the CrackBerry Forums as well as TELUS’ own Twitter support channels. Tapbots, developer of popular third-party Twitter client Tweetbot, as well calculator app Calcbot have announced some of their plans for 2015. Updates are coming for both Calcbot and Tweetbot on Mac, iPhone, and iPad.

Tapbots hopes to push major updates for all of their apps before WWDC 2015. They have already teased Tweetbot 2 for Mac, which will be a free update to current Tweetbot for Mac users when it launches later this year.

A major update to Tweetbot for iOS, listed as Tweetbot 4.0 on their refreshed website, is in the works that will include an update for the iPad version. From Tapbots:

We are also working on getting major updates to Tweetbot 3 for iOS out. This will include landscape mode for iOS (finally), and the highly anticipated update to the iPad version. We plan on putting a lot of time and love into making Tweetbot a better product this year.

In addition to announcing these plans, Tapbots has also refreshed their website. Under the new In Development section on the front page, they list their current works-in-progress, including the updates for Tweetbot on iOS and Mac, as well as Calcbot 2.1, which will include extensions, localization improvements, and more.
