Qualcomm confirms Snapdragon 810 in the new HTC One M9
We already saw nearly everything about the HTC One M9 leak earlier today, but in case you still had any doubts about some of the specs, Qualcomm has all but confirmed the Snapdragon 810 will be present in the device when it’s unveiled on March 1st.
The company tweeted a Vine showing a mysterious device with a clock imposed over it earlier today, with the clock showing 8:10 (obviously for the Snapdragon 810) then changing to 10:08, which happens to be the same time HTC uses in all of their press renders for their devices. The tweet mentions “It’s almost time for a new #Snapdragon 810 powered smartphone. #MWC15.” With Samsung likely to stick to the Exynos chips this time around, the only reasonable suggestion here is for the new HTC One to pack Snapdragon’s latest inside, hopefully completely bug free.
Guess we’ll find out in a few days.
