Yahoo Mail gets smarter in version 4.8.2 update
If you’re still using a Yahoo email address, a pretty sizable update to the Yahoo Mail app should be waiting for you in the Play Store. In the update to version 4.8.2, we’re seeing a ton of enhancements added to the email client that aim to make your life more convenient.
The most notable feature added to the app is the ability to get updates on packages in real-time from Amazon, eBay, Nordstrom and a number of other retailers. Also added is support for flight notifications if you happen to use Orbitz or CheapTickets. Among a few others, you can also personalize your Yahoo Today catalog and select your favorite sports teams from which to get updates. As an added bonus, you can now customize and read your daily horoscope… from your email application.
