Watch our replay of #IDARB and (mainly) PvZ: Garden Warfare!
Windows Central has been livestreaming a wide variety of Xbox One games on every Saturday for quite a while now. As our viewership continues to grow, so does the number of games we want to share with you! Thus we’ll now be Twitch streaming a different game every Wednesday as well. That’s twice the chances to tune in and chat along with your fellow readers while our staff showcases a great game.
Tonight we’ll be streaming the freshly released IDARB from Other Ocean. IDARB is this month’s free Xbox One Games with Gold title and plays like a crazy hybrid of basketball and a platforming game. After a bit of IDARB action, we’ll cleanse our pallets with a few rounds of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare from Electronic Arts. Viewers who own either game are welcome to join me for multiplayer during the stream.
Update: The stream has ended! We experienced severe connection issues with IDARB, but our Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare sessions went great. Check out the replay after the break (skip to about 40 minutes in for PvZ).

Today’s acquisition will not only bring BT back into the mobile operator market, but the move will also provide EE subscribers the chance to bundle BT services, including broadband, TV and fixed telephone, with their existing mobile packages. Telefonica remains in talks with Three owner Hutchison to acquire O2.

Kodak and movie studios forge a deal to keep film alive
Good news, die-hard aficionados of movies on film: those reels will stick around for a while yet. Kodak has put the finishing touches on a deal with the six big Hollywood studios (Disney, Fox, NBC, Paramount, Sony and Warner Bros.) that will maintain a steady supply of film for movie and TV directors that want to keep using the classic format. The exact terms aren’t public, but it wouldn’t be surprising if Kodak had the studios over a barrel. When high-profile directors like Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino virtually insist on film, it’s hard to say “no” — you may as well be telling them to take a hike if you make them go digital. This pact won’t stop the gradual death of film in theaters, of course, but creative types can take comfort in knowing that celluloid’s hard-to-replicate qualities aren’t going away any time soon.
