The Idol Mini may not have the best specs on the market, but it’s still a decent smartphone for only $99 off-contract. The device has a 4.3-inch IPS display with 854 x 480 resolution, a dual-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of on-board storage (single SIM variant), 8GB of on-board storage (dual SIM variant) and MicroSD expansion up to 32GB. Lack of 4G capabilities and the fact that it’s running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean may turn some users away from this deal. On the plus side, the unlocked handset is compatible with AT&T, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, Straight Talk and a number of other different carriers.
