HTC proposed a number of deals for Black Friday, but the one that caught the most attention was the company’s iPhone trade-in offering.
If you were on the fence about the iPhone for HTC One A9 trade-in offering on Black Friday, you have a second chance. HTC has extended the trade-in through January 26, 2016. If you’re interested in getting the One A9 through a trade-in, you don’t necessarily need to trade-in an iPhone. Just as a recap, owners of a recent Samsung flagship model, LG flagship model or even the HTC One M9 can take advantage of the offer as well. The only difference is that you’ll earn money to put towards the handset instead of gaining the handset directly.

Turing Phone delayed, those who don’t cancel pre-orders will get a free storage upgrade
The “unhackable” Turing Phone has been delayed, according to an email being sent out to customers. The device went up for pre-order awhile back with a promised ship date of December 18, but the company CEO is now saying that they won’t make the shipment date and will need more time.
As a result of this mishap, Turing Robotic Industries will be giving those who ordered the device two options, the first being that customers can cancel their order, getting an immediate and full refund. The second option is that customers stick around and wait the delay out. As a result, the company will upgrade the storage size of your Turing Phone for free.
Those who run with the second option will automatically get the free upgrade. If you pre-ordered a 16GB model, it’ll become a 64GB model. If you ordered a 64GB device, it’ll become a 128GB variant. And if you ordered a 128GB version, you’ll get yourself a limited edition model of the Turing Phone.
The only downside is that there isn’t an actual new shipping date, and it’s actually going to be a much longer wait. Turing Robotic Industries is now promising that shipments will begin at the end of Q1 2016. It’s a long wait, but could potentially be worth the reward.

Pandora will fire most of Rdio’s staff after buyout
It’s a sad, but all too familiar, story that, when a company buys one of its rivals, the first thing it does is take a hatchet to the employees of its new acquisition. It’s the situation that’s greeting Rdio’s employees this morning after VentureBeat discovered that new owner Pandora will lay off a hefty chunk of Rdio’s staff. The information comes from a WARN disclosure, a legal requirement to give 60 days notice before a mass-firing, made by the company to California’s employment department. According to the document, 123 people will be let go at some point between now and the end of the year, despite the firm hinting that it’d retain many of the employees to bolster its own ranks. So, you know, if you wanna know where the Grinch is living these days…

You can finally watch Twitch streams on Android TV
Twitch has been on Google’s Chromecast for over a year, so it’s hard to believe it wasn’t on Android TV before. But the streaming company has just revealed an official app for the Google’s big-screen service, letting you watch live or pre-recorded games, personalities and e-sports tournaments on supported TVs or devices like NVIDIA’s Shield. As usual, you’ll be able to chat with fellow players, follow channels and games, and view broadcaster profiles and streaming schedules, all at up to 1080p/60fps quality.

If you are a Huawei Honor 7 owner and happen to live in the United Kingdom, you can currently sign up to beta test Huawei’s upcoming Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system for the handset.
Huawei’s custom Marshmallow OS for testing is called EMUI 4.2, which suggests that this is a slightly updated version to EMUI 4.0 that was announced at the same time as the new Huawei Mate 8. However, that phone hasn’t hit the shelves yet, so Honor 7 beta testers will be among the first to try out Huawei’s take on Android Marshmallow.

Batman will become a Telltale episodic game series in 2016
Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, Game of Thrones – those are just some of the shows/movies that Telltale has transformed into episodic adventure games over the years. They certainly have become the king of transforming games, movies, and other media into successful episodes and they don’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. The latest entity to make its way into Telltale’s episodic format? Batman.

The new series is expected to debut in 2016 on Android, alongside consoles, computer, and other mobile platforms. The dark knight has certainly taken on many different forms and personas over the years, with various comic series, movie series, and even game series depicting Bruce Wayne’s alter ego in different ways. What is TellTale’s Batman going to look like? That’s a good question, though not much has been revealed in the way of details.
