Samsung Galaxy S 5 unofficially gets Marshmallow through Cyanogenmod

by John_A

gold_galaxy_s5If you’re tired of waiting for Samsung to finally get Android 6.0 pushed out to your Galaxy S 5, you’ll now be able to take things into your own hands and get Cyanogenmod 13 installed on your device, if you’re comfortable rooting and flashing a ROM.

Here’s the catch: only GSM devices are receiving these nightly builds. If you’re on AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, or US Cellular, you’re out of luck, so keep that in mind when downloading and trying to flash these.

If you’ve got a compatible device and want to dive in, though, you can grab the ROM below.
