Special Star Wars themed DROID Turbo 2 options revealed by Verizon

Yesterday word surfaced that Verizon and Motorola were working on some special versions of the DROID Turbo 2 that would be part of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens marketing train that it seems everyone is hopping on board. The original indications were that this might mean special wallpapers for the devices, which it turns out is part of the deal, but other options were unclear. Verizon has now revealed that starting today, users can customize their DROID Turbo 2 devices through Moto Maker to not only get the wallpapers, but they will have a selection of special colors and backing materials to choose from.

The color combinations that Motorola and Verizon are making available as part of this special offer are based on characters from the Star Wars franchise. They include Poe Dameron, Rey, BB-8, a First Order Stormtrooper, and Kylo Ren. The special wallpapers will also be part of the marketing tie-in, although their release is still pending. Verizon indicates they will be available in the Google Play store for owners of the DROID Turbo 2.
