Telltale Games today announced that another popular franchise, Batman, would be turned into an episodic adventure in 2016. The game developer is well-known for taking popular series and turning it into an episodic adventure, such as Game of Thrones, Minecraft, Jurassic, and so on.

Telltale says that the series will premiere in 2016 and will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and mobile devices. The developer didn’t offer an exact date when we’ll see the new Batman episodic tale, but early 2016 would be a good guess.

“At Telltale, we’ve been honored to bring our unique approach to interactive storytelling to some of the biggest entertainment franchises in the world, and we’re excited to announce that we’ll soon be exploring what it means to be Batman in an all-new series starting next year,” said Kevin Bruner, Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games. “This iteration of Batman will give fans a first-hand opportunity to dive deeper into the complex life and mind of Bruce Wayne, the duality of his own identity, and the struggle of responsibility in saving a city overcome with corruption and villainy.”

The official title for the game has yet to be revealed either. Telltale made the official announcement on-stage at The Game Awards 2015 in Los Angeles, but won’t post the teaser trailer online until a later date.

Meanwhile, Telltale fans are still anxiously awaiting the final two episodes in the epic Minecraft: Story Mode tale. The third episode was just recently released for all platforms on November 23.
