NVIDIA Shield TV vs. Roku Ultra
NVIDIA Shield TV has been around since 2015. Roku Ultra was born in 2017. Sometimes, age ain’t nothing but a number.
How Android TV’s best goes up against a newer (and more expensive) streaming favorite.
There’s no denying the popularity of Roku. Its low cost and simplicity has made it a favorite of cord cutters and casual streamers alike. And so it’s almost a little unfair to put it up against the likes of NVIDIA Shield TV. Because we’re talking greater hardware on just about every level, never mind the fact that Shield TV is a good two years older.

The verdict? Roku Ultra still surprises in some places, while definitely lacking in others. The real decision, though, may reside in your wallet.
