Fantasy Football Draft Wizard wants to help you win your fantasy league
Around this time of year a quick glance at a newsstand or magazine rack in a store will reveal numerous titles devoted to fantasy football promising to help participants succeed in their upcoming drafts. FantasyPros hopes to capitalize on the market of users looking for that edge in putting together a fantasy football team by bringing that information to your smartphone or tablet. The new Fantasy Football Draft Wizard promises to not only help you through realistic mock drafts, but it also supports several popular platforms to provide assistance during your live draft.
FantasyPros says they have brought their Expert Consensus Rankings (ECR) to the app to give users accurate data and projections. This datastore and the rankings are used to create an advanced suggestion system for every single pick. To test it out, the app gives users the ability to run their own mock drafts in minutes even without an available Internet connection.
When it comes time for an actual draft, Fantasy Football Draft Wizard can be used to mark off selections as their are made by the other owners, which will in turn generate suggestions for your next pick. Users can specify what kind of strategy they want to use for their picks, hopefully based on some mock drafts they have already conducted. To make things even easier, users can make an in-app purchase for live sync capabilities so the app will handle the marking of players as they are selected. Fantasy Football Draft Wizard can handle several popular platforms including Yahoo!, NFL.com, CBS, MyFantasyLeague, RTSports, NFFC, Fantrax and FFPC leagues.
You can get Fantasy Football Draft Wizard from the Google Play Store for $4.99 using the link below.

Clove UK launches petition to pressure Samsung into bringing the Note 5 to Europe
Galaxy note fans in Europe were dismayed to find out yesterday that Samsung isn’t bringing the Note 5 to the region in 2015. Instead, the Korean handset maker is only giving them the option to buy the Galaxy S6 Edge+, a jumped up version of the Galaxy S6 Edge that was announced back in March. The UK retailer, Clove Technology, isn’t happy about this, and has launched a petition in a bid to show Samsung it has made a mistake.
Appeal to bring Samsung Galaxy Note 5 to Europe #note5foreurope http://t.co/JkmnHSrX2n
— Clovetechnology (@clovetechnology) August 14, 2015
Clove hopes that enough people will sign the petition and retweet the hashtag #note5foreurope to pressure Samsung into changing its strategy. It’s doubtful whether the petition will have any effect on Samsung to be honest, but if you are also disappointed that the Note 5 due to be released Europe in 2015, why not sign the petition and re-tweet the tweet, it could work. As the lottery jingle used to say, you have to in it to win it. Failing that, it’s a case of finding out which LTE bands the US Note 5 supports, with a view towards importing the handset from the US if you’re a die-hard Note fan.
What do you think about Samsung’s decision to withhold the Note 5 from Europe for the rest of 2015? If you are a Note fan, will you wait until it eventually becomes available or will you look towards a different brand for your next smartphone?

Ah Samsung! Yesterday’s launch of the Galaxy S6 Edge+ in London saw the Korean manufacturer announce a new phone and then field the same question from everyone in attendance: what about the Galaxy Note 5?
As we revealed yesterday, Samsung say the Galaxy Note 5 isn’t planned for launch in Europe and while we wait to hear back from Samsung about its decision, you can get involved now. The folks over at Clove Technology aren’t too happy with Samsung’s decision and have decided to do something about it.

The LG Nexus will probably look something like this

The other day, @OnLeaks lived up to his name and dished out several details about the upcoming Nexus handsets from LG and Huawei. Today, @OnLeaks has help to bring us a selection of renders, showing us what the next LG Nexus smartphone should look like.
The renders are based on factory schematic information provided to third party accessory-makers, so the dimensions are quite likely to be accurate, although the final look could well vary a bit, especially when it comes to build materials.
On the back, we can see the fingerprint scanner that has been rumored numerous times in the past. LG’s signature rear volume controls seem to have given way in order to include the scanner, which sits just underneath the protruding camera module.
The camera comes with an LED flash and also what appears to be a laser auto focus module. We can also spot the reversible USB Type-C socket at the bottom of the smartphone.
Other rumors have pointed to a couple of front facing speakers, which we can also make out on the front of the render. The size of the smartphone also apparently backs up claims that the LG Nexus will feature 5.2-inch display. The schematic states that the phone will measure 146.9 x 72.8 x 8mm, with the protruding camera extending the depth to 9.8mm.
Interestingly, there’s no sign of LG’s signature curved display with this handset, so the company won’t be bringing all of its proprietary technology to its next Nexus smartphone.
We will have to see if a similar render for the rumored Huawei Nexus shows up as well. Check out the video below for a full view of the render.

Apple Pay Coming ‘Very Soon’ to Lloyds Bank in United Kingdom
Lloyds Bank has sent an email to customers to notify them that it will begin supporting Apple Pay “very soon” for contactless payments with debit and credit cards and in-app purchases. Most transactions will initially be limited to £20 at retailers in the United Kingdom, but some retailers may allow larger purchases.
Lloyds Bank has been listed under the “Coming Soon” section on the Apple Pay page in the United Kingdom for quite some time, but the bank has not provided a more specific launch date beyond telling customers it is aiming for “autumn” through its Twitter support account.
Apple Pay launched in the U.K. on July 13 and is accepted at more than 250,000 locations across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Participating banks that have activated the service include First Direct, HSBC, MBNA, Nationwide, NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland, Santander and Ulster Bank.
OnePlus co-founder confirms global slowdown of invite rollout
Samsung may have launched its latest flagship devices yesterday, the Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge+, but we have some news about the 2016 flagship killer, the OnePlus 2. If you were hoping to get your hands on an invite anytime soon, you may be waiting a little longer as the OnePlus co-founder, Carl Pei, has posted that the roll-out of invites will be slowed down in the coming few weeks.
The global slow-down in handing out invites for the OnePlus 2 is apparently down to some production issues, one being the USB Type-C cable that isn’t up to standard. The co-founder said this issue was being dealt with upstream. He also said that ‘there is continuous work being done on Oxygen OS to improve the overall product experience.’ One wonders if the issues with the fingerprint scanner/home button combo will also be dealt with, with some users complaining that the home button doesn’t register contact around 10% of the time.
What do you think of the slower roll-out of OnePlus 2 invites? Will it affect your decision to purchase the 2016 flagship killer?

Reddit rolls over to please Russia’s authorities
Remember the tale of how Reddit managed to get itself banned in Russia because of a thread that promoted the growing of psychedelic mushrooms? A few days later and the site has returned, mostly because it rolled over and locally blocked the offending content to please the country’s internet regulator, Roskomnadzor. The move has attracted criticism from the user who posted the piece originally, saying that the site shouldn’t give in to the demands. The plea fell on deaf ears over at Reddit HQ, however, since the company is still suffering through an existential crisis about what forms of speech it will and won’t allow.
