Virgin and Boost Mobile to Stock the Samsung Galaxy S5 in Quarter 2
Big name devices just aren’t for the the big name carriers anymore. Sprint’s pre-paid brands, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile USA, will both offer the Samsung Galaxy S5 to potential consumers some time in Q2. That puts it between April and June. Accroding to the press release, both pre-paid version will also have access to the Sprint Spark high-speed data connections, where available of course.
Pricing details haven’t been announced just yet though. All they have to offer are two Facebook postings saying it is coming. We fully expect them to cost an arm and half a leg. Taking into consideration that it is a pre-paid network and the Galaxy S III is still listed at $349.99 with Boost.

Android 4.4.2 Source Code Released for T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3
Android 4.4.2 for the T-Mobile variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 isn’t quite out just yet, but it is coming. We know this because Samsung said it was, and because the source code for the update has been loaded up on the Samsung OpenSource site.
Source code doesn’t do a lick of good for the average user, but it does give the amazing developers out there things to start tinkering with to ‘fix’ whatever the firmware fails to do. The TMo model number is N900T. Pull that up at the Samsung OpenSource webpage via search and you find the file, N900TUVUCNB4.
As for when the T-Mobile Note 3 will actually have an official OTA to Android 4.4.2 is a mystery. Often times it starts rolling out the same day, or at least within 24 hours, of the source code going up for download. Be sure to keep an eye on your Note 3 if you are still stock and watch out for the OTA.

Google Search Returns now off up full Restaurant Menus
Google is constantly improving the amount of information you can acquire from a simple search. A new addition is filtering its way through the back end of Google that has your eating out interests in mind. Rather than surfing through a restaurants website to find their menu, which sometimes requires downloading a PDF, you can now just have Google pull it up for you.
It isn’t perfect yet and does have plenty of limitations. For instance, you must use “show me the menu for…” prior to the restaurants name. If you don’t, you won’t get the new return. Also, it is new, so you might find one or two locally, but big cities with hot restaurants are more likely to show up right now. I did a search of a few on my phone and on my desktop PC and came across one that pulled up.
Fir right now the roll out of the new information is limited to the U.S. What good eats have you found the menu for so far.

Virgin Mobile, Boost Mobile call up Galaxy S5
With the recent announcement of the Galaxy S5, many carriers have already offered up their intentions to carry Samsung’s new flagship. If you’re looking for a no-contract option for your next phone, you may want to head to Boost Mobile or Virgin Mobile to pick it up.
Both Boost and Virgin Mobile will offer the phone in Q2 of this year, and pricing information is yet to be released for either carrier.
Since Q1 ends at the end of March, we will likely see the phone on Boost and Virgin soon after that. Post-paid carriers usually receive flagship phones before pre-paid carriers, so it will most likely be some time after the April release date.
