Lenovo launches Vibe X3 with Snapdragon 808 CPU, 21MP camera and fingerprint sensor
Lenovo has just unveiled the third edition of its Vibe X series in China. The Vibe X3 is being marketed as a high-end smartphone with unmatched audio capabilities for quite sometime now.
With its curved edges design, the Vibe X3 looks quite different from its predecessors, the Vibe X and the Vibe X2. It sports a 5.5-inch 1080p display and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
On the audio front, the Vibe X3 houses two front-facing stereo speakers and Hi-fi 3.0, a Chinese term for dedicated speaker amplifiers and three noise-canceling microphones. The fingerprint scanner is housed at the back, which seems to have become the order of the day.
Its 16GB variant is powered by an octa-core MediaTek processors with SensorHub co-processing unit, 2GB of RAM and 13-megapixel primary and 5-megapixel front snappers. The basic edition is currently available for preorder for around $300.
The 32GB edition of the Vibe X3 will ship with a Snapdragon 808 CPU, 3GB of RAM and 3,600 mAh battery. On the camera front, it sports a 21-megapixel Sony shooter with phase-detection AF and dual LED flash. It has been priced around the equivalent for $400. The handset even has a 64GB premium version that ships for $470. The devices will be officially released on November 25th.
