Gionee GN8001 gets certified by TENAA, includes a 6-inch display
Gionee’s latest handset to get certified by TENAA is a monstrous one with model number GN8001.
Gionee’s GN8001 is a super large-sized handset with a 6-inch display containing 1080 x 1920 pixels. It’s powered by an octa-core 1.3GHz CPU backed with 3GB of RAM and has front and rear facing high-resolution cameras. It also packs a 3,000mAh battery and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded to an additional 128GB of space thanks to its built-in microSD card slot. The design features a dual-tone LED flash on the rear side along with a back-mounted speaker grill. The device measures just 8.2mm thick and includes a hardware button for the home key rather than having software controls. Some images will be included in a gallery down below.
The Gionee GN8001 will boot Android 5.1 straight out of the box and support LTE connectivity. Details on pricing and availability could be only a few days away.
