OnePlus 2 units begins receiving OxygenOS 2.1.2 update

OnePlus 2_Oxygen OS_2.1.2_update_111315Starting today, OnePlus 2 units will get the Oxygen 2.1.2 update. The update is rolling out in waves over-the-year so be patient if you haven’t received the notification yet.

OxygenOS version 2.1.2 is hitting OnePlus 2 handsets starting today. The update brings many performance tweaks, bug fixes, security patches and stability improvements. It also brings further enhancements to some of the device’s features. These include the UX preview in the Camera app, better customization for icons and lock-screen wallpaper support. You may also notice the addition of the Russian and Turkish language, which have been included with this update. And lastly, 2.1.2 will provide the needed support for shooting in RAW on third-party camera applications. All in which will make for a better and more fluent interface.

OnePlus has noted if you’re a FV-5 camera user, the company will be rolling out an update to support RAW shooting on the OnePlus 2. The version number is 2.79.5 and it will also be rolling out in the coming days.
