The creators of Crossy Road are back with Shooty Skies

Crossy Road was an incredibly popular game, bringing back fond memories of age-old road crossing games like Frogger. Two of the three-man team that created Crossy Road have teamed up again under a new name – Mighty Games Group – to bring you Shooty Skies, yet another game that brings back a game genre from a by-gone video gaming age. This time, it’s the 2D sky shooters that Shooty Skies aims to emulate except with the same voxel art style that made Crossy Road so charming. Check out the trailer for the game below:
It’s frantic, colourful and there are in-app purchases if you want to customize your avatar the way you want them – note that you’ll still unlock them over time from playing the game. Of course, this means that the game is free-to-play, so really that’s all the reasons you need to pick up and try Shooty Skies this weekend.
