Disney Movies Anywhere is coming to Amazon and Microsoft stores

by John_A

Disney_Movies_Anywhere_Large_IconPreviously, Disney Movies Anywhere could only link to an iTunes account, but today it will now connect with Amazon Instant Video and Microsoft Video. Also, there are new Disney apps for Xbox 360 and Amazon’s Fire TV. Plus, next week on the 15th, it’s launching on Roku and Android TV.

Any movie you have unlocked from Guardians of the Galaxy to Avengers: Age of Ultron will be viewable on any of those services. Once your account is connected to them, you can then buy whatever movie you would like, and it will unlock the service on others, as powered by Disney’s KeyChest setup. If you link your account to a streaming device, Disney will even give you a free copy of Monsters Inc.
