These days, guitar tuner apps are far better than they once were as are phone microphones. That has made the task much better. Cifra Club Tuner is probably the most simple tuner on the list. It is totally free and, as such, is a tad bereft of features. However, if you just want to tune something very quickly, this is a good way to go. As most go, you can still use this for bass, banjo, ukulele, etc so it does still work for other instruments. It’s a solid option but it doesn’t work well on small-screened devices so if you’re under 4-inches in size, you may need to look elsewhere.

DaTuner is an interesting mixture of complex and simple. It has some features to make things easy like auto-sensitivity and the screen turns green when the tuning is right as opposed to making you try to navigate a dial or needle tuner.
