The NVIDIA SHIELD and SHIELD Pro are now available in the Google Store
NVIDIA’s SHIELD and SHIELD Pro are now available for purchase through the Google Store. The SHIELD runs Android TV and starts at $199.99 for the base model and the Pro costs $299.99. The only difference is the SHIELD Pro has 500GB of built-in storage compared to 16GB for the standard version. Included in the purchase is the NVIDIA controller for gaming as the SHIELD is designed for not only Android TV but for gaming as well.
What makes the SHIELD unique is that is can display Ultra HD at 4k resolution from apps like Netflix and Youtube. You can even stream PC games from the cloud to your TV while using the precision controller to game your heart away. Included in the box is the SHIELD, AC adapter, HDMI cable, and USB cable. For 200 dollars this is quite a bundle.
