Cricket expands support for Canada, adds several new countries to international plans
Cricket Wireless announced today they are enhancing international calling and messaging options available to their customers. For those who are traveling or doing business frequently between the U.S. and Canada, they will now get unlimited talk and text both to and from Canada and the U.S. This new capability will automatically be included in Smart and Pro monthly plans for no additional cost.
Cricket is also tweaking their calling and messaging features between the U.S. and Mexico. Currently Smart and Pro plan customers can roam in Mexico for no additional charge when making a call. Now they will also enjoy unlimited text, picture and video messaging from the U.S. to Mexico.
Finally, Cricket is expanding their international footprint by offering service to the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Jamaica, Haiti or Nicaragua through an add-on for specific countries. The add-on plans range from $10 to $15 per month on top of the Smart or Pro monthly plan a consumer already has.
