Epson may not be a company that comes to mind when you think of activity monitors and wearables to encourage fitness, but they hope to change that with their Runsense line of wearables. The latest device launched by Epson is the Runsense SF-110 GPS watch that brings the benefits of GPS technology to a user’s wrist. The Runsense SF-110 will be capable of measuring steps taken, calories burned, distance, pace, time, laps, altitude and more according to Epson.

The Runsense SF-110 will be available in three colors – black, green and bright blue. Epson also makes it possible for users to customize the screen with one of three options that present up to nine different measurements using an LCD display. According to Randy Bergstedt, Group Product Manager with Epson Active,

“The Runsense SF-110’s unique combination of features is perfect for the person with an active lifestyle who wants to understand more about their fitness and running progress. The product is the latest in our line of GPS running watches and reflects Epson’s commitment to developing a full suite of wearables for the sports and fitness lifestyle.”

Consumers who choose the Runsense SF-110 for their activity monitoring needs can sync their data with the Epson Run Connect mobile app or other apps like MapMyRun or Strava. Epson says users can also activate Assisted GPS to have GPS satellite data connect directly with the wearable.

The Runsense SF-110 will sell for a retail price of $139.
