Verizon Wireless invested $135 million on its Florida network during the first half of 2015 to bolster 4G LTE coverage through its rapid expansion of its new XLTE technology. It is hoped that this expansion will help reach and provide more services to customers across the state.

Verizon’s XLTE technology employ the carrier’s AWS (Advanced Wireless Services) spectrum to offer more stability, capacity, and high speeds over its 4G LTE network. The telecommunications company has been able to launch over 230 XLTE sites this year across Florida alone.

XLTE should provide blazing speeds and great stability in congested areas. This is especially important around locations where there are hospitals, government facilities, and other important human resource buildings.

Are you in an area where Verizon has launched its XLTE technologies? Have you noticed a difference? Be sure to let us know in the comments!
