Sprint now taking pre-orders with special offers on new Samsung Galaxy devices
Sprint has started accepting pre-orders for the new Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and plans to start shipping devices starting Friday, August 14th with retail outlets getting the devices on their shelves starting August 21st. To help entice buyers, Sprint says they are offering the most options for consumers and they are sweetening the deal with some special offers.
For customers who pick up on of Samsung’s newest devices using Sprint Lease or Sprint Easy Pay programs, the carrier will throw in the following:
- a guaranteed $200 minimum credit on working smartphones that are traded in;
- an early upgrade option at only 12 months;
- a free Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 if buyers activate the device with a 2-year service contract.
On a Sprint Lease, buyers can get the Galaxy S6 Edge+ for $30 per month for a 32GB model while the Galaxy Note 5 will go for $25 per month. The Sprint Easy Pay option is only $3 and $5 more per month for the devices respectively.
Users can opt for a 2-year contract option by paying $349.99 for the Galaxy S6 Edge+ or $249.99 for the Galaxy Note 5. Bumping internal storage up to 64GB will push the prices up by an extra $100.
Finally, consumers could just buy the devices outright. The Galaxy S6 Edge+ will go for $792 for the 32GB model and $888 for the 64GB version. The Galaxy Note 5 will sell for $720 or $816 for the 32Gb and 64GB models.
The Galaxy S6 Edge+ will be available in Black Sapphire and Gold Platinum while the Galaxy Note 5 will come in Black Sapphire or White Pearl.
