Clove UK launches petition to pressure Samsung into bringing the Note 5 to Europe
Galaxy note fans in Europe were dismayed to find out yesterday that Samsung isn’t bringing the Note 5 to the region in 2015. Instead, the Korean handset maker is only giving them the option to buy the Galaxy S6 Edge+, a jumped up version of the Galaxy S6 Edge that was announced back in March. The UK retailer, Clove Technology, isn’t happy about this, and has launched a petition in a bid to show Samsung it has made a mistake.
Appeal to bring Samsung Galaxy Note 5 to Europe #note5foreurope http://t.co/JkmnHSrX2n

Clove hopes that enough people will sign the petition and retweet the hashtag #note5foreurope to pressure Samsung into changing its strategy. It’s doubtful whether the petition will have any effect on Samsung to be honest, but if you are also disappointed that the Note 5 due to be released Europe in 2015, why not sign the petition and re-tweet the tweet, it could work. As the lottery jingle used to say, you have to in it to win it. Failing that, it’s a case of finding out which LTE bands the US Note 5 supports, with a view towards importing the handset from the US if you’re a die-hard Note fan.
What do you think about Samsung’s decision to withhold the Note 5 from Europe for the rest of 2015? If you are a Note fan, will you wait until it eventually becomes available or will you look towards a different brand for your next smartphone?
