Samsung’s Galaxy S7 might come with a Snapdragon 820 SoC
According to a new report, Samsung has already initiated development of its upcoming flagship smartphone of 2016, the Galaxy S7. The handset has been internally codenamed Jungfrau and if a leaked Chinese internal document is anything to go by, it’s set to feature some pretty beefy internals.
The word on the street is that the G7 is expected to feature Qualcomm’s brand new Snapdragon 820 System-on-Chip and it would appear that there’s some truth to the speculation. A leaked testing roster reveals that an unidentified unit matching the description of Jungfrau has already entered testing carrying the new processor.
Unfortunately, we have quite a way to go before Samsung’s unveils the Galaxy S7, but for now early signs point towards it being a hugely powerful device.
