Alcatel OneTouch working to issue Stagefright patch for the Idol 3
Sometime next week, Alcatel OneTouch will push a security update to its flagship device. The Idol 3 will receive a software update “on or around August 10″ to address Android’s Stagefright vulnerability. Alcatel OneTouch is following Google’s lead in issuing a fix for the vulnerability.
Owners of the Idol 3 located in the United States will be first to receive the security update.
