OnePlus’ OxygenOS, based on Lollipop, arrives for the One

The process of software updates on Android has been riddled with issues for years. Few companies push timely software updates and most fail to do so before the next version of Android is announced. So consumers are left with devices running outdated software for months. Fortunately, owners of the OnePlus One will see quicker updates with the company’s new OxygenOS. OnePlus has released OxygenOS, which is based on Lollipop, with a focus on items that matter. OxygenOS features gestures, customization, and quick settings. The point made with it is to keep things “light and essential with subtle, useful features.”
