We know there are plenty of folks out there who have only scratched the surface when it comes to virtual reality. Google Cardboard is a great basic entry point for those who have tried it, and it’s one of those experiences that leaves you wondering why anyone would bother spending more for other experiences when phones are getting better and better every day.

Recently we got a whole bunch of the Mobile Nations family in one place at the same time for something other than writing about phones, and when we should have been relaxing in between group tasks some of us decided to expose as many new people as possible to more advanced forms of VR. For us here at Android Central, that meant Russell exposing Jerry to the Samsung Gear VR for the first time. Phil decided the conversation that followed needed to be recorded, and so here we are.
