Telltale Games’ ‘Minecraft: Story Mode’ season premier starting on October 13
Telltale Games today announced that the season premiere of Minecraft: Story Mode will be available next month. Five episodes will be available in a single season, and the first episode, The Order of Stone, will launch on Android, iOS, Amazon devices, PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4.
The PC and consoles will see the game on October 13 while it’ll launch on mobile devices come October 15. As with most games, details are kept to a minimum until launch day, however, players will be able to play as Jesse, setting out on a quest to find the Order of the Stone.

While Telltale Games is heading up Minecraft: Story Mode, they’ve been working close with Mojang to make sure the game feels like its part of the Minecraft world. Players will be able to play as a female version of Jesse, and will be able to customize the appearance of their characters with three different options as well.
