DigiCal gets updated with the Material Design makeover
DigiCal today is receiving a major update, a redesign of the popular calendar application with Google’s Material Design guidelines. This update also brings some new features for premium and free users.
This new update brings a lot of changes to the user interface, completely overhauling all of its calendar views to Material Design, adding a new navigation drawer along with new Material Design cards in the edit and view event screens.
Those using the free version of DigiCal will find a bevy of new and handy features available to them, such as color sync with Google Calendar, a new tool for travels needing to see their schedule in multiple time zones, custom reminders, and a new layout for managing invitations to an event.
For those using the premium version of DigiCal, DigiCal+, you’ll see all of the aforementioned features in this update in addition to some exclusive tools, such as a new “Year View” with a heat map and the ability to choose up to 42 different primary theme colors.
Finally, DigiCal is running a promotion on the premium version of the app, offering it for 50% off starting today until September 14. Interested users will pay $2.50USD over the normal $5 price tag.
