Skype v5.11 updated to include heads up notification to call or reply to friends
Similar to how regular text messages work, Skype has updated their app to give users the ability to call or reply to a text directly from the notification. Unfortunately, unlike a regular text message, you still have to enter the app once you have selected your option.
When someone messages you, a pop up notification will appear at the top of your screen with a call button on the left and reply button on the right. The notification is exactly like all other notifications and will appear over top of any app you are currently in.
