Dark Angels expansion pack for Space Hulk: Ascension is available for the Mac
Dark Angels, the latest expansion pack for the sci-fi turn-based strategy game Space Hulk: Ascension, is now available to purchase and download for the Mac, PC and Linux platforms via Steam.
The price of Dark Angels is normally $7.99 but it has been reduced from now until April 22 by 10% to $7.19. Dark Angels is the third expansion for Space Hulk: Ascension, which is based on the Games Workshop board game set in its Warhammer 40K universe. Here’s what players can expect from Dark Angels:
Featuring over 25 hours of content, Space Hulk: Ascension – Dark Angels continues to add incredible features and value to the turn-based strategy game. Written by Black Library author Graeme Lyon, the story campaign “Bringer of Sorrow” sees the planet Corinthe under attack by Tyranid forces, with a newly emerged Space Hulk that has to be eliminated by the Deathwing. Plasma Cannons shoot out huge fireballs of glowing plasma that splash across large areas, causing insane amounts of damage. They can be overcharged for additional splash damage. The Apothecary is a support class that complements players command slot in their squad, and bolsters the resolve of nearby Terminators and supports defensive play styles.
Developer Full Control, based in Copenhagen, Denmark, first released Space Hulk: Ascension in 2013. It recently announced that the game would be the last new project from the studio, although it will continue to support Space Hulk: Ascension and all of its previously released games.

Best wireless chargers under $20
Don’t be put off by expensive wireless chargers. There are affordable options that do exactly the same thing.
It wasn’t uncommon to see ridiculous price tags on the newest OEM wireless chargers, especially after flagship devices started packing Qi-compatibility. Shortly after, however, aftermarket manufacturers stepped in — providing essentially the same convenient chargers — but at a fraction of the price.
This brief list of affordable wireless chargers will give you the sweet freedom from cables that most of us desire without breaking the bank.

Goldman survey good news for Apple and Apple Watch
How big is the Apple Watch market?
That’s the question many people, analyst and consumer alike, have been asking both before and after pre-orders kicked off on April 10. We’ve got experience now with everything from phones to tablets to set top boxes, but the Apple Watch is something new. To try and find out, Goldman asked over 1,000 “nationally representative” consumers about how they see the Apple Watch fitting in their lives. The answer, according to Bloomberg:
- encouraging initial demand, with +11% of iPhone users “very likely” to purchase an Apple Watch this year,
- regular watch wearers are among the most likely to order an Apple or other smart watch, suggesting high displacement rates for traditional watches from smart watch adoption,
- young consumers are substantially more likely to buy an Apple Watch than older consumers, and
- those likely to buy a smart watch most often indicate Fossil, Seiko, Casio, Rolex, Timex, and TAG Heuer are the watch brands they wear today.
Anecdotally, I know that even among my non-tech enthusiast friends and family members, interest in the Apple Watch has only increased since the new ad started running and try-ons began.
A first look at the Huawei P8
Our first look at Huawei’s flagship phone for 2015
Android outlier Huawei has put out some surprisingly solid devices in the past 12 months. The Chinese manufacturer’s 2014 flagship, the Ascend P7 was a decent phone marred by stuttery performance and dated software. But the Mate 7 and Honor 6 Plus, which followed later in the year, proved that this lesser-known brand could, in some areas, compete with the big boys. Now Huawei’s back with a new flagship phone for 2015, and it appears the gap is closing further.
Head past the break for our initial hands-on impressions of the new Huawei P8.

The update takes Band Pro to version 1.2 and definitely has the Windows Phone Band app headed in the right direction.
