How to adjust brightness and color with Photos for OS X
- Launch the Photos app on your Mac running OS X Yosemite or newer.
- Find the photo in your photo library that you’d like to edit and click on it.
- Click on the Edit button in the top navigation.
- Click on Adjust in the right hand navigation.
- Using either the light or color option off to the right, drag the slider either left or right to adjust.
- Clock the dropdown arrow next to light or color to make finer adjustments.
- All adjustments under that group show up and you can adjust them manually.
- Click the Auto button next to either light or color if you’d rather let Photos decide what it thinks is best.
- Click Done at the top right to save your changes.
How to convert an image to black and white with Photos for OS X
- Launch the Photos app on your Mac running OS X Yosemite or newer.
- Find the photo in your photo library that you’d like to edit and click on it.
