Nissan CEO thinks rumored electric Apple Car is a good idea
Nissan-Renault CEO Carlos Ghosn thinks its a good idea for Apple to get in the car business.
Speaking during MWC 2015, Ghosn said that it would be good for Nissan, and other car companies, for Apple to build a car. An all-electric vehicle from Apple would raise public awareness about electric vehicles. From CNET:
“The fact that a company outside of the auto industry wants to do electric cars is refreshing,” he said, adding he was curious about the prospect.
Apple has reportedly been building a team of car experts for an automotive project, and is rumored to be targeting 2020 for the release of an electric vehicle.
