An upcoming HTC Desire Eye smartphone will soon be introduced with a pair of 13-megapixel cameras, says Twitter source @uplinks. Reportedly, the phone will boast a wide angle f2.0 13-megapixel camera for the selfie-minded user. Additional specs figure to include a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, and a removable 2400mAh battery.

Powered by Android KitKat (we hope), the phone is also touted with Sense 6 for EYE. Sounds like a special version of software designed to take better pictures or create cooler Zoes.

It’s not clear how soon we’ll see the Desire Eye but we wouldn’t be surprised if it were part of the October 8 presser. Remember that invitation that said “seeing double”? Hmm…maybe.
