Sprint counters AT&T double data promo with its own deal
Not to be outdone by its rivals, Sprint on Wednesday announced a limited time promotion for more data. Available today and through October 31, Sprint Family Share Pack plans offer double the allotted data. Those on 32GB, 40GB, and 80GB plans will receive 60GB, 80GB, and 120GB, respectively. Prices stay the same; customers simply get more for the money.
Customers wishing to take advantage of the deal will need to call Sprint or visit on of the retails stores before the end of the month. Sprint is doing a similar thing for its business plans with up to 200GB shared data available.
In addition to the double data, Sprint is waiving access charges for smartphones, tablets, and mobile broadband devices. To qualify, customers must port their number into Sprint from another carrier and sign up for a 20GB or higher share plan. Also, all devices must be purchased on Easy Pay or the Sprint iPhone for Life plans.
