Samsung’s next Windows Phone is headed to Verizon, still looks like a Galaxy phone
Samsung’s still making Windows Phones, okay? And here’s what the company’s 2014 model will apparently look like, with yet another protruding physical button and what appears to be a lighter grey color palette — matching the vague fortunes of Microsoft’s still (gradually) growing mobile OS. According to @evleaks, it’s also heading to Verizon in the US. Prior leaks have suggested it’ll arrive LTE-capable with a 1080p 5-inch display. Well, we do expect Samsung to show up to MWC 2014 with more than just the one Android flagship.

Samsung Galaxy Note Pro and Tab Pro series coming to US February 13th

Looks like Office Depot wasn’t messing with us when it began offering pre-orders of Samsung’s brand-new 12.2-inch tablet ahead of its official US launch; it just jumped the gun a bit. As it turns out, the entire litany of Samsung’s Galaxy tablets announced at CES — which include the 12.2-inch Note Pro and all three sizes in the Tab Pro series — will be available stateside on February 13th. Just in case you’re worried about hordes of people trying to grab one as a last-minute Valentine’s Day present, you can also pre-order any of the products starting right now through one of several online retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Fry’s, Newegg and others. There’s no word on any carrier agreements yet, however, and it appears that all four models are WiFi-only.
Pricing varies wildly depending on which model you’re getting. Starting at the low end of the spectrum, you can grab the 8.4-inch Tab Pro (16GB) for $400; the 10.1-inch Tab Pro (16GB) for $500; and the 12.2-inch Tab Pro (32GB) for $650. Last but not least, the productivity powerhouse itself — the Note Pro — can be yours for $750 (32GB) or $850 (64GB). Additionally, the devices come with 50GB Dropbox space for two years, a $25 Google Play credit, three-month trial Hulu Plus subscription, six months of Cisco WebEx Premium 8 and a year subscription with Bloomberg Businessweek.
Samsung also confirms that the new tablets are still outfitted with Magazine UX, which means these products haven’t been affected by the company’s rumored deal with Google. According to reports from last week, Samsung agreed to tone down the amount of customization and special features in its Android devices. Naturally, if this does happen, we expect it to be a while before it finally takes effect.
Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 priced $850, hits stores February 13
The Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 release date and price has been made public, and luckily it’s not too far away. Expected to hit shelves in the U.S. on February 13th this massive tablet might just be the perfect Valentine’s Day gift.
Originally announced back in January at CES, the early reactions ranged from “why haven’t we thought of this sooner?” to “will people actually buy this?”
The pre-order price of $850 might be a bit too much for the average user. But, considering its massive screen side and impressive specs the price might be justifiable to a few of you.
If you’re interested in pre-ordering one of these 12.2-inch tablet experiences, head to Office Depot with credit card in hand.
Are you game for one of these?

Samsung’s ‘Unpacked 5’ event promises a new flagship device
Samsung sure knows how to whet the appetite of its fans. The Korean tech giant has announced that it’s holding an “Unpacked 5″ event at Mobile World Congress on February 24th — a potentially not-so-subtle reference to the upcoming Galaxy S 5. There’s no guarantees that the new high-end smartphone will appear in Barcelona, especially when Samsung has only unveiled one Galaxy S device (the Galaxy S II) at the trade gathering. However, our invitation mentions a “flagship product,” and it comes nearly a year after the company invited us to get “ready 4 the show” — we all know what that digit was referencing. Whether or not the fifth-generation flagship makes an appearance at the event, you can be sure that we’ll be there.

Samsung Unpacked 2014 Episode 1 scheduled for 24th Feburary, Galaxy S5 sure to make an Appearance
For some time now (some would say from the time its predecessor was launched), we’ve been wondering for some time now when the Samsung Galaxy S5 was going to be announced. Well, Samsung has settled that matter once and for all after sending out invites today to the Samsung Unpacked 2014 Episode 1 event.
Scheduled for February 24th in Barcelona, this announcement will be made in the midst of the MWC 2014 frenzy. Further indication that the event will unveil the Galaxy S5 is the fact that the invite has the words “UNPACKED 5″ prominently stamped across it. Samsung also makes reference to its YouTube channel suggesting that it will be live-streaming the unveiling, which we’ll be covering a bit closer to the date.
As long as they don’t get Michael Bay to announce their flagship device, I’m sure it will be a Samsung event to remember. Are you excited about the release of the Galaxy S5? Will you be getting one? Let us know in the comments below if you are.

64GB Galaxy Note Pro 12.2″ up for pre-order in the US, available on February 13th
Last week we reported that the gigantic Note Pro was available for pre-order in the UK from Samsung’s e-store for £649, along with a $99 gamepad for free.
Well, the much anticipated tablet that made its debut during CES 2014 will be hitting US shelves in less than two weeks. The product has been added to the Office Depot list, and is available to pre-order for $849.99 — 64GB version only. I have to admit though, the pricing is sort of whopping. If you ask me, I would wait until the rest of the retailers came on board as well, just in case there is a better deal than this one. In the end, you can always buy your electronics for a lower price from Amazon.
The Note PRO packs a selection of high-end specs including a gigantic 12.2-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1600, Exynos 5 Octa core processor clocked at 1.9GHz, 3GB of RAM, 32 or 64GB of storage with a microSD slot, an 8-megapixel rear camera and a massive 9,500 mAh battery. The device also supports LTE and ships with Android 4.4 KitKat with Samasung’s Magazine UX on top.
Let us know if you pre-ordered one in the comments below.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 ships in the US February 13th for $850, up for pre-order now
Arriving in the US just in time for Valentine’s Day, the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is set to ship stateside February 13th with an equally beefy $850 price tag. If you’ll recall, the 12.2-inch behemoth was announced back at CES and sports the same S Pen chops as the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 outed then as well. The 64GB WiFi version is up for pre-order for folks in the States over at Office Depot, should you be looking for extra screen real estate and don’t mind the added heft that it requires. Need a quick refresher on the device? Take a peek back at our hands-on to do just that.
[Thanks, Matt]

Samsung Poland intros two Galaxy Note 3 Neo models
After months of rumors, Samsung (Poland) has announced two new versions of the Galaxy Note 3. Known as the Galaxy Note 3 Neo 3G and the Galaxy Note 3 Neo LTE+, the two feature slightly smaller (5.5-inch) and lower resolution (1280×720) displays than the standard model. Internally, the two Note 3 Neo models differ from each other and run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
The Note 3 Neo 3G features a 1.6GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, and an 8-megapixel rear camera. Additional details include microSD (up to 64GB) expansion, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 3100mAh battery. The Note 3 Neo LTE+ is stronger in that it packs a hexa-core CPU (two 1.7GHz A15 cores, four 1.3GHz A7 cores) .
Samsung did not disclose pricing for either model; a “worldwide “availability is scheduled for February in a variety of colors.
