The LG Watch Urbane could be released as soon as next week, and LG has released another video to wet your appetite. This video shows a wonderful time lapse of Barcelona while the Watch Urbane is shown with different faces in time lapse as well.

Camera samples of the LG G4 emerge, look pretty impressive
The LG G4 is expected to break cover on April 28 as the company’s teasers have revealed. But it seems like the smartphone will be revealed bit by bit before its official unveiling later this month.
Today, we’re getting an idea of what the G4’s camera is capable of courtesy of a few sample shots and a promo video published by the company.
From the sample image available, it is quite clear what the f/1.8 sensor on the smartphone can do. In what appears to be a major shift, LG is trying to target professional photographers with the camera here. The company has even hired a professional photographer to talk about the camera of the new flagship.
The sample image looks very impressive and we can’t wait to get our hands on the G4 to tell you more about its potential. LG is utilizing a 16-megapixel sensor with the G4, so it’s on level pegging with the Samsung Galaxy S6 which is currently touted to be the best Android phone available.
A little over a week ago, we came across a large collection of press images of the LG G4, showing the device in its entirety. So the handset is barely a secret ahead of its launch next Tuesday.

AT&T to offer LG G Flex 2 on April 24
AT&T on Monday confirmed the LG G Flex 2 will arrive in select retail stores starting from April 24. Priced $299.99 with a two-year service agreement, the phone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and features a 5.5-inch 1080p display and a 13-megapixel rear camera. Toss in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage and you’re in the running for one of 2015’s best phones.
AT&T will also offer the G Flex 2 on its Next Plans for qualified customers. At $0 down, the pricing breaks down as so:
- $23.64 per month for 30 installments on AT&T Next 24
- $29.55 per month for 24 installments on AT&T Next 18
- $35.45 per month for 20 installments on AT&T Next 12
Of course you can always buy the phone outright; AT&T has tapped the G Flex 2 with an all-in cost of $708.99.7

LG to offer free screen replacement and 64GB memory card with LG G4 in South Korea
LG’s offer for a one-time screen replacement and a 64GB memory card is valid for up to a year after purchasing the device in South Korea. The offer is exclusive just to that country. Specifically, it is valid until May 31, which may mean that the G4 will be launched immediately after its unveiling on April 28.

Korean LG G4 phones to get one year of free screen replacement
The LG G4 is gearing up to be a pretty amazing device. Given that the G3 was heralded as one of the better devices of 2014, the G4 should follow suit and there will be many who will most likely pick it up. That said, it looks like LG is sweeting the pot a little bit by offering a year of free screen replacement if you meet certain criteria.
In order to get the screen replacement, you have to purchase the device before May 31, and you have to be in Korea. Yeah that’s right, this is currently rumored to be a Korean exclusive for the time being. LG is also throwing in a 64GB microSD card into the deal. But that’s not just it.
The phone is set for a Tuesday, April 28, announcement.

Your Android Wear devices will work even when your phone’s at home
There’s a new kid on the smartwatch block, which means that Google needs to make sure that its own gear is ready for the challenge. That’s why the company is pushing out new features to its Android Wear devices in the coming weeks. The biggest addition is probably WiFi support that’ll let you connect to your smartphone even if it isn’t in your pocket. Should you, for instance, head out to the coffee shop and leave your phone at home, then you’ll still receive notifications as long as both are connected to the internet.
As you can see in the GIF above, another big addition is the ability to cycle through cards without getting fingerprint marks on the screen. Simply flick your wrist away from your body to move forward and do the opposite to take a step back should you miss anything. Google has also enabled apps to take advantage of the always-on display and you can respond to messages with emoji straight from your wrist. The rollout will begin with LG’s Watch Urbane and will spread across the rest of the range in the next few weeks.

LG shows off the ‘professional grade’ camera inside the LG G4
Camera quality has become an increasingly important feature to LG’s smartphones, and the company has already confirmed that the upcoming LG G4 will feature an improved 16 megapixel, f/1.8 aperture rear camera module. To help showcase the handset’s photography prowess, LG has brought in professional landscape photographer Colby Brown to take a few snaps and talks us through the features. See the video above.
Brown suggests that the smartphone’s camera offers superior color accuracy by automatically recognising indoor and outdoor environments, boasts a flexible “manual mode” to adjust your shutter speed and white balance, and that the f/1.8 aperture allow for brighter, lower noise images in low light conditions.
The collection of the images in the gallery below, taken from the video, all look rather impressive, and were apparently captured with an LG G4.
While a smartphone camera is unlikely to temp a professional or serious amateur photographer away from their gear, closing the quality and feature gap between everyday portable smartphone cameras and expensive, high-quality equipment is goal worth pursuing. We can’t wait to get our hands on it to see if the LG G4 can rival the impressive quality offered by the Samsung Galaxy S6’s camera.
Early Korean LG G4 customers to receive one free screen replacement and a 64GB microSD card
There may not be many surprises left to reveal about the upcoming LG G4, but the company has just lifted the lid on a new warranty offer for the handset. Korean customers who purchase the G4 before the dealine will receive a one-time screen replacement and a 64GB microSD memory card completely free.
To qualify for the offer, customers must order their smartphone before May 31st, suggesting that the handset will hit the shelves promptly after its official unveiling at the end of this month. Customers in Korea can apparently begin pre-ordering their smartphone starting this Wednesday. If you complete your purchase before the deadline, LG will replace your broken screen, just once, up to a year after your purchase.
In the same post, LG also reaffirmed that its latest flagship will come with a 16 megapixel, f/1.8 aperture rear image sensor and an 8 megapixel front facing camera. We also know that the smartphone will launch with a new ‘Quantum’ QHD display and a variety of leather back covers.
Sadly for the rest of us, LG has confirmed that this offer will be made exclusive to South Korea. The LG G4 will be unveiled in New York on April 28th.

We’ve got just over a week before LG officially announces the LG G4, but the question is already being asked: Will the LG G4 sell as well as the LG G3? According to Korean analyst, IBK Investment & Securities, the answer is “No”. This answer is largely driven by the resurgent success of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge who says will create market conditions which “will not be favorable” for the LG G4, who LG is hoping will sell the same number of handsets as the LG G3, estimated to be around 10 million.
Another source has said that the recent rumours that the LG G4 will be powered be a Snapdragon 808 instead of a Snapdragon 810 will be an issue if true as it is losing “a selling point for LG”. And as you can imagine, anything that LG can claw back from the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge is going to be an important differentiator come April 28th, but we’ll have to see if LG has anything else hidden up their sleeves.
