The Duo Camera-bearing HTC One E8 has been officially Announced
Is the HTC One M8 a bit too full-on for you? Perhaps something a little bit less aluminium is a bit more up your alley. Well, if you are one of those people, the HTC One E8 that has been announced today may be the phone for you. The One E8 trades its aluminium metal unibody for a polycarbonate unibody (the same material used for phone cases) in the hopes of appealing to the “fashion-conscious” and will be available in “Polar White, Electric Crimson, Maldives Blue, and Misty Gray”.
Not that many hardware details have been specified in the press release, but guessing from the fact that it has a 2,600mAh battery, BoomSound speakers and access to Sense 6.0 and Dot View cases, there will likely be more than a few similarities between the One E8 and One M8′s specifications. Probably the biggest similarity between the two devices is the inclusion of the Duo Camera, however while the One M8 had 4MP UltraPixel main camera, the One E8 instead just has a regular 13MP camera. Whether this means all the nifty features of the One M8 will no longer be available to the One E8 remains to be seen, but it’s very interesting that HTC has chosen to abandon UltraPixel for this new devices.
No pricing or specific region availability has been stated yet, however HTC says that the HTC One E8 will start becoming available in June. Hopefully changing the unibody to polycarbonate will make the device cheaper. Who’s interested in getting a HTC One E8? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

HTC One (M8) Ace rumored as Vogue Edition, expected June 3

HTC One (M8) is most certainly one of the best smartphones out at the moment. HTC’s flagship has been around for some time now and we’ve already seen some leaks regarding some spin-offs, if we can say it that way, of that device. HTC One Remix for Verizon has leaked as well as HTC One (M8) prime and HTC has already launched HTC One mini 2 recently.
This time around we have a leak regarding HTC One M8 Vogue coming from China. This device might as well be HTC M8 “Ace” which has leaked over a month ago. The specifications of the device are allegedly going to be the same as in HTC One (M8), but the design will be significantly different and it will sport only 1 camera on the back, like HTC Desire 816 for example, which has one 13MP camera and a plastic design materials. We don’t exactly have a clear picture of how the phone will look like because we don’t have an image to attach to this leak, but we’re guessing something similar to HTC One (M8) covered in plastic instead of aluminum.
The device should be released on June 3rd, at least in China, and the price should be somewhere around $480. It is also rumored that it will be available in black, white, blue and red colors. What do you think about all this? Would you buy a phone like this?

LG G3 compared in size to HTC One (M8) ahead of launch

It’s been kind of hard to keep up with all LG G3′s leaks lately, the closer the release date gets the more leaks came to us.
We’ve seen how the device will look already and this time we have it compared to HTC One (M8) in size, at least to some degree, we can see the width of LG G3 compared to HTC’s flagship in the picture above. It seems noticeably wider than HTC One (M8), thanks to its rumored 5.5″ screen we believe, despite those thin bezels. On the picture below you can clearly see the back of the device along with what is leaked to be a laser autofocus sensor which should improve focus speed and be more accurate while doing that.
LG G3 announcement is due tomorrow, May 27 and these are the rumored specifications. Do you think LG G3 will be too big?
