Telus may finally be updating the Galaxy S5 and Note 4 to Marshmallow

by John_A

According to a new document, it appears as though Telus may be preparing to roll out the Marshmallow update for both the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4. The Marshmallow rollout has been a slow one, but we have seen lots of different phones get updated recently.

While both phones are somewhat older, that doesn’t mean that those holding onto them don’t want the latest operating system. Arjin Puri noted the changes on Twitter:

Canadian telco #Telus finally posts the #samsung #note4 #marshmallow update timeline. May 16th is the date! #android pic.twitter.com/O3zUO0DcbV

Don’t put too much weight into the dates listed, as they are always subject to change. It is great to see that more of the previous generation phones will be getting the updated to the latest version of the operating system.
