Snapseed update now brings support for RAW image editing
Google has just updated Snapseed to version 2.1, bringing support for RAW image editing in the DNG file format. This will allow users that have smartphones capable of capturing RAW images to take full advantage of them when making adjustments or editing them.
Images captured in the RAW format saves all image data, unlike the JPEG format that compresses images causing some data to be lost. This means that you will now have the ability to edit photos in their full uncompressed form, bringing more flexibility in the way you can adjust lights, shadows etc. You can also edit DNGs that were shot on cameras or converted from other RAW formats. In addition, the update brings minor navigation improvements to make the app more intuitive.
