Possible price of OnePlus X revealed in leaked ad
The OnePlus X launches just a few days from now on October 29, and new leaks about the ‘mini‘ handset are still appearing. Today’s leak coming courtesy of the Chinese social media site, Weibo, consisting of an advertisement for the upcoming 5-inch OnePlus X, showing both the device and its alleged price tag.
While the device shown in the ad is allegedly the OnePlus X, there isn’t too much we can take from the image itself, other than it will definitely support 4G, it has a power button on one side with volume buttons on the opposite side, with a camera sensor and speaker residing in the top bezel, much like most other modern smartphones.
The main takeaway is that the advert says that the price tag of the OnePlus X is 1,699 Yuan, which comes in at around $267. Previous leaks had pointed towards the OnePlus X carrying a $249 sticker price, so this advert implies the handset is almost $20 more expensive.
According to the leaks, the OnePlus X features a Full HD 5-inch display, the venerable Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, MicroSD card support, a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP selfie camera, and a 2,450mAh battery. Is 1,699 Yuan ($267) a fair price for the OnePlus X and its level of alleged specifications?
