We all know Pepsi as a global soft drink brand, but perhaps soon you’ll know it as a phone brand. PepsiCo, the parent company that also operates Frito-Lay and Gatorade among other properties, is seemingly preparing to release an Android phone under its soft drink brand’s name. Overseas, the company teased the Pepsi P1 on Weibo.

The P1 will allegedly have a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920×1080) display, MediaTek processor with 2GB of RAM, 13MP / 5MP cameras, 16GB of internal storage, and Lollipop. The battery providing energy for everything is 3000mAh. The best part about the P1? It is said to cost $205 in China. But don’t expect the Pepsi P1 to be available around the world; most of these peculiar devices tend to remain in Asia.

We’ve reached out to PepsiCo for an official statement.
