NVIDIA’s now rolling out the Android 5.1 update for the Tegra Note 7
Owner’s of the Tegra Note 7 are in for a little treat this morning as NVIDA has just started rolling out the long-awaited Android 5.1 update to all models of the slate located in the United States.
As far as added functionality goes, this upgrade transports the latest build of the operating system to the tablet, in addition to a truckload of bug fixes and stability improvements.

- Upgrade the operating system to Android 5.1
- Upgrades to various Lasso and DirectStylus features
- Miscellaneous audio, display, network fixes and optimizations
- App compatibility fixes
The upgrade is being rolled out in stages, as is the norm, but if you don’t feel like waiting for a notification confirming that it’s ready for your device to hit your unit, you could always search for the update manually.
To do so simply open the Settings app, scroll to the bottom and tap on “About Device”, hit “System Updates”, then select “Check for updates”. Once done, the upgrade will start downloading.
