SOMA Messenger aims to be the best free messenger available
Developer Instanza has launched SOMA Messenger on the Google Play Store, a new, powerful, and lightning fast instant messenger. SOMA is similar to Facebook Messenger in many ways, but the developer claims it’s faster than any other messaging service available. However, one of its central focuses is to make sure your messages are kept away from prying eyes.
SOMA Messenger offers 2048bit RSA and 256bit AES encryption to ensure communications are as private and secure as they can be. In addition to security, SOMA Messenger has your usual features you’d expect in most messengers worth their salt.
Users can expect to see HD video calls packaged in SOMA. The developer claims that their video calls don’t have any buffering, but that is highly dependent on your Internet connection. You can also make free voice calls, start a group chat, and even talk with your friends overseas–their are no International charges whatsoever.
The only downside to SOMA Messenger is that your friends have to be using it in order for you to make phone calls, video calls, and even send messages.
Aside from its claim of being faster than any other messaging app, SOMA Messenger doesn’t offer a good reason as to why you should switch from Facebook Messenger and use it instead.
