LG Tribute 2 and Tribute Duo comes to Sprint Prepaid and Virgin Mobile
LG’s pair of budget phones, the Tribute 2 and Tribute Duo, are now available on Sprint Prepaid and Virgin Mobile for $99. The Tribute Duo will be available on Sprint’s own network, while the Tribute Duo can be found on its subsidiary, Virgin Mobile.
Both devices feature a 4.5-inch display, a quad-core 1.2GHz processor, a 1,900mAh battery, and they’re both rocking the latest flavor of Android Lollipop: 5.1. Similar to many of LG’s devices, physical buttons are placed on the back of the device.
The LG Tribute 2 and Tribute Duo are great for those on a budget and run relatively fast, despite not being as powerful as today’s flagships. If you’re interested, Sprint Prepaid plans start at $35/month for unlimited talk, text, and 1GB of data.
Alternatively, Virgin Mobile plans start at $30 per month for 300 minutes talk, unlimited text, and 3GB of data. If 300 minutes isn’t enough, Virgin Mobile will throw in unlimited talk for an extra $10/month.
LG’s Tribute 2 recently launched on Sprint subsidiary Boost Mobile alongside a more impressive device, the LG Volt 2.
