If you are a Mac owner who feels left out when your friends and people on the internet go gaga over all those wonderful Android games and apps, we have a great news for you. Android emulator BlueStacks is now available for Mac.

Until today, the Android app player was only available to Windows users who could play android games and app on their computers after downloading the software for free. Back in 2012, Bluestacks had briefly released an alpha version of the app for Mac users.

Now, the company that boasts of 90 million downloads to its kitty, says that the official Mac version would be as smooth an experience for its users as it is for those using Windows.

“We worked hard to take advantage of everything Mac has to offer. From pinch to zoom on the trackpad to its retina display we optimized for everything,” said BlueStacks Principal Software Architect David Reese.

The app player supports MacBooks with Retina displays and trackpads. Basically, any Mac device with Intel-based or ARM-based processors will be able to support the BlueStacks player.
