There are often times when I feel like an old prison guard with a huge loop of keys at the hip weighing me down from one side. If you’re anything like me, you’ve got more keys than you’d care for but can’t quite leave the house without all of them. This means carrying around a hunk of jingling metal everywhere you go. It can be quite embarrassing trying to go for a jog when you alarm every fellow runner you approach with the sound of Santa’s sleigh at their heels. How about the awkwardness of wearing a pair of slim-fit pants with this unsightly amorphous protrusion jutting from the pocket? Good news, KeySmart will solve all of these problems.
KeySmart 2.0 is designed to organize your keys in a compact form factor yet still provides fast and reliable access. With a lightweight body, KeySmart can hold double your amount of keys in just half the space. This eliminates the bulk, noise and inconvenience of unkempt gobs of metal. Sleek, practical and minimal, KeySmart 2.0 is available to AndroidGuys readers for just $16.99. Definitely a great buy!

It looks like a new version of Android 5.1 (LMY47I) is going out as Google posted factory images for both the Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 yesterday. We don’t know what has been changed, but we expect it to be minor bug squashing, which is never a bad thing.
We also know that you guys don’t like waiting around for updates so flashing the image might be your best bet to get it now. There is no reason to be afraid of flashing. You don’t even have to lose your data if your bootloader is unlocked. We have the most complete and easy to follow instructions anywhere, so if you want to have the latest and greatest update up and running in less than a few minutes, make sure you follow this link.

We’ve known for a while that the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge were coming to select markets on April 10th, but now Samsung has confirmed this timeframe will also apply to those in the United States. If you’re wishing to pre-order, you’ll have your chance on March 27th.
If these dates sound pretty familiar, that’s because HTC is opening pre-orders up tomorrow as well, with plans to ship the phone on April 10th. Coincidence? We think not. When you consider that the HTC One M9 is already being met with mixed reception, and add the fact Samsung is generally better at marketing, things don’t look so great for HTC here.

In addition to confirming the pre-order and shipping dates, Samsung also has revealed that the 32, 64 and 128GB models will be made available in the United States, and in the color choices of black, white and gold. That means bright blue and green will not be coming to the states. Keep in mind these are just general dates, and so actual carrier pre-order/shipping dates (and even colors) may vary a little. That said, all four major carriers are signed on to offer the Galaxy S6 and Edge from day one.

This morning Samsung announced the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge will arrive in the United States on April 10th, with pre-orders beginning March 27th. Now T-Mobile and T&T have chimed in with a few other details, including how much they will sell the handsets for.

As expected, the premium design on the Galaxy S6 means pricing is going up, but not dramatically so. The 32GB model will cost $679.92, the 64GB model for $759.99, and the 128GB version for $859.99. For those interested in T-Mobile payment plans, the 32GB model can be yours for $0 down with 24 monthly payments of $28.33, the 64GB model for $99 down and 24 monthly payments of $27.50, and finally the 128GB model for $199.99 down and 24 monthly payments of $27.50.
The Galaxy S6 Edge’s pricing has also been revealed, coming in at $779.76, $859.83 and $959.83 for the 32, 64 and 128GB versions respectively. Monthly payment rates will begin at $0 down with 24 monthly payments of $32.49, with the 64GB and 128GB models costing $31.66 a month, with the former requiring a $99.99 down payment and the later requiring $199.99 down.
Keep in mind that all of these devices also come with a free year of Netflix for those buying from the Uncarrier, a value of $107.88.

While T-Mobile breaks down the pricing for all models, AT&T isn’t quite as clear. The carrier will carry the 32GB, 64GB and 128GB storage options in black, white or gold but only has outed pricing for the 32GB Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.
The Galaxy S6 start at $22.84 monthly on Next 24, which assuming that’s zero down, as Next pricing usually is, comes to only $548.16. That’s significantly cheaper than T-Mobile’s listed price. The Galaxy S6 Edge starts at $27.17 on Next 24, once again looking to be noticeably cheaper at a total cost of $652.08. The AT&T Galaxy S6 offerings don’t come with a year of free Netflix, but they are offering $50 off on the purchase of a Samsung Gear Circle Bluetooth Stereo headset through AT&T Next.

After talking with Tim Cook onstage at the March 9 “Spring Forward” media event, model Christy Turlington Burns has kept a weekly blog on Apple’s official website with updates on her preparations for the London Marathon next month.
In this week’s post, Burns mentions in passing that the Watch will not only learn a user’s stride after a few exercises when paired with an iPhone, after a while the Watch will be able to act independently in tracking fitness-related stats without needing to be tethered to an iPhone at all (via MacObserver).

Burns shows off the ease of exchanging Apple Watch bands in this week’s blog post
The post, titled “The Art of Vacation Training”, finds Burns on a bit of a break from her usual training regimen while on vacation with her family in the Caribbean. Still finding time to put in a 14-mile run in one day, Burns discusses how her personal Apple Watch has since learned her stride and speed, the Watch becoming less reliant on the iPhone in the fitness-tracking departments the more she uses it.
I switched up my runs between the treadmill at the hotel gym and outside. After you run with Apple Watch and your iPhone a few times, the Workout app knows more about your stride. So you can run on a treadmill or outside without your phone and still get a really accurate workout summary.
Apple’s presentation of the device, ever since its reveal last September, has been of a Watch in nearly constant need of contact with an iPhone. Although Burns’ blog post only appears to confirm the Watch’s fitness-focused apps can sufficiently work sans iPhone, it’s still an interesting piece of information, especially for users planning to use the wearable as a sole workout device.
Check out the rest of Burns’ blog post, and her earlier entries, on Apple’s official website.
Pre-orders for Samsung’s Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge being March 27, and here is where you can get them.
Samsung’s newest flagship devices, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge, pre-orders are beginning in the US on March 27. Following Samsung’s announcement of availability, which starts in stores on April 10, carriers have begun releasing pricing details. If you are looking to get your hands on the Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 edge the details by carrier are as follows.
PayPal has has agreed to pay the US Department of the Treasury $7.7-million, after the financial giant processed transactions for a number of companies and individuals on the US sanctions list. A total of 486 violations of US regulations had apparently been committed by PayPal “for several years” after repeated failures in the firm’s screening process, a reports explains. While the severity of each instance will vary, the Treasury highlighted a number that relate to Turkish national Kursud Zafer Cire — an individual on the list after suspected involvement in the movement of weapons of mass destruction. The Treasury’s report states that Risk Operations Agents at PayPal manually overrode at least four alerts flagging Cire as blacklisted — resulting in transactions totalling over $7,000. Since 2013, PayPal has introduced a “long term solution” that checks for violations in real time. An investment we imagine that’s a little more cost effective, than predicting future malware.

If you’ve ever lamented the separation of My Maps from the Google Maps application, you might well be in luck. Why? Because the Google Maps app is receiving an update that will allow you to view the custom maps you created in the My Maps app.
To view the custom maps that you’ve created with the My Maps app in the Google Maps for Android app, all you have to do is tap the Menu button, select Your Maps, scroll down and choose the map you want to see. You still need the My Maps app to edit your custom maps sadly, although you can create or edit your maps in a web browsers as well. The update has just begun rolling out and is an Android-only feature at the present time.
