Samsung could start offering Marvel themed Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge accessories
According to a new report, Samsung will offer some exclusive Marvel themed cases for the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge. Some renders of these cases give us an idea of how this arrangement might work, although it’s far from the real deal, at least at this point.
We know about Marvel’s partnership with Samsung which involves a bunch of handy accessories which are going to be displayed in the upcoming Avengers film. So it is possible that this is an extension of that and Marvel/Samsung can leverage the hype generated by the film and launch accessories themed as either one of the Avengers.
The renders are available for all the main characters including Black Widow, Nick Fury, Hawkeye etc. It does seem like a great idea to cash in on the popularity of the franchise. But whether Samsung will actually bring these accessories to the market is only for time to answer.

If your iPhone’s sleep/wake button stops working, here’s how to power it down with AssistiveTouch!
The iPhone only has two main buttons, the Lock (sleep/wake) button, and the Home button. Day in and day out we use these two buttons constantly. So what happens if one of them fails? In this case, a reader asked how they can completely power down their iPhone if their Lock button has stopped working. AssistiveTouch doesn’t make it very obvious, but you actually can power down your iPhone with it. Follow along and I’ll show you how!

Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 leaks out sporting a larger display
Chinese juggernaut Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi 2 handset earlier today. It seems like the company is also gearing up for the launch of a bigger version of its Redmi Note phablet from last year. The revelation was made by a new leak from China.
It is said that the display on this smartphone could stretch up to 5.7 inches, which is the same size as the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The device is also expected to be packing a Snapdragon 615 octa core SoC, 2GB of RAM, 4G LTE and Android 4.4.4 KitKat with MIUI version 6.
It is also said that the device will sport a 4,000 mAh battery, which is fitting for a device of that size. But since there’s no confirmation of this yet, we urge you to take it with a pinch of salt.
The leak further hints at the possibility of the manufacturers launching a 3G variant of the smartphone, probably with a lower price tag and a MediaTek chip. Pricing details are not available yet, but expect both variants to be somewhere under the range of $200.

Samsung UK has a new brown version of the Galaxy S6
Samsung announced the Galaxy S6 in White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum and Blue Topaz color variants. However, Samsung UK has now disclosed details of a new brown color variant, which we haven’t seen before.
Since the revelation was made by Samsung officially, we’re bound to believe that the variant will be unveiled very soon. Of course, it’s always likely that the company has listed this color option accidentally, so one can’t be fully sure yet.
It’s always good to have extra color variants on offer as it gives users more liberty while purchasing the smartphone. That being said, we won’t be surprised if Samsung keeps this variant an exclusive to European markets, so don’t get your hopes up just yet.
Do you think the addition of a brown color variant will spice up the Galaxy S6 lineup? Let us know below.

Say goodbye to the Nexus 5
The Nexus 5 had a really nice run, but it has finally come to an end. The Nexus 5’s popularity among the Android faithful continued into the Nexus 6 generation because not everyone wanted a 6-inch phone. I don’t think any other Nexus phone survived this much beyond one year of availability.
Google has stopped selling the Nexus 5, but I am sure it will live on through eBay, and other sites like it, as a great phone to buy used.
