You can now view your custom maps on Google Maps
If you’ve ever lamented the separation of My Maps from the Google Maps application, you might well be in luck. Why? Because the Google Maps app is receiving an update that will allow you to view the custom maps you created in the My Maps app.
To view the custom maps that you’ve created with the My Maps app in the Google Maps for Android app, all you have to do is tap the Menu button, select Your Maps, scroll down and choose the map you want to see. You still need the My Maps app to edit your custom maps sadly, although you can create or edit your maps in a web browsers as well. The update has just begun rolling out and is an Android-only feature at the present time.
